MORE PROBLEMS FOR LAVENDER AT NEW HAMPSHIRE

Jody Lavender had a good run going in the NASCAR Camping World East Series race at the New Hampshire Speedway but more problems came again.  After qualifying 14th, Jody moved up into the top-ten quickly and on up to 3rd and stayed in the top-five most of the race.  But on lap 100 of the 125 lap race while running 3rd, his tires started to fade and he fell back.  On lap 114, he came in for new tires and on lap 119, with 6 laps remaining, he ran out of gas and lost 4 laps.  Jody also lost radio communication with his pits during the race and an air gun broke during the pit stop for tires requiring a 2nd stop to change 2 tires.

Jody moves on to the Dover Speedway next weekend and said, “I’m excited about our chances at Dover.  We have a good car and I think we can run up front.”
